KrishiKotha.com is the first every online repository of agricultural technologies in Bangla. This site is aimed at offering farmers and ‘farmer-friends’ with the latest information on agricultural technologies useful for increasing yield, efficiency, processing, preservation and marketing of ago-commodities of Bangladesh.

Extension of a new ago-technology in Bangladesh takes around 7 to 10 years to be disseminated to the farmers fields. This is quite a long time for a country like Bangladesh where amount of land is reducing day by day and number of population is increasing fast. Many agricultural extension services under different government ministries and many NGOs have been working in agricultural extension and technology transfer. However, KrishiKotha.com is trying a different approach to exploit the opportunity of reaching 37 million people (April 2014 BTRC report) of the country who are using internet currently. It is expected that together with reaching people in agriculture from Bangladesh, KrishiKotha will also support Bangla speaking people in India (West Bengal and Tripura) towards transfer of agro-technologies to them as well.
